Add this delicious smoothie to your diet to help support the natural detoxification process of your body and boost your gut health. The detox process can work better by boosting the body with certain nutrients, avoiding certain foods which can cause inflammation and bloating. I am an advocate of bringing balance and equilibrium to the body by supporting it holistically.

I will be sharing with you recipes I love and tips to help support your body’s wellness and hopefully motivate you to spend more time taking care of yourself. This particular recipe helps reduce bloat, supports your digestive health boosts liver health and immunity. 

It is a fantastic way to start your day or replace any meal.

Glow up green Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cups of filtered water or coconut water
  • 2 cups of fresh, organic baby spinach
  • 1 small cucumber, cut into chunks
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 kiwi fruit or 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1/2 Tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 avocado
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon or lime
  • 1/2 cup ice (optional)
  • 2 scoops of vegan protein

Optional:

For increased health benefits, such as athletic performance, improved skin, hair and nails, anti-aging, and improved bone health, add 1 Tbs of unflavored collagen peptides.

Method:

Put all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
