Body by Lara focuses on movement integration, muscle design, body transformation and anti-ageing in a workout created for both your face and body. The base of Lara’s research grew from the link between exercise and anti-ageing. Lara recognised the worldwide obsession and understands how exercise affects the body on a cellular level creating Body by Lara.

Body by Lara brings cardio interval training to movement based exercise methods, combining Pilates, Garuda, Gyrotonic, Barre and callanetics.

After 16 years of experience in the fitness industry teaching Pilates, Gyrotonic, Gyrokinesis, Garuda, Booty Barre, Garude Barre and Face Yoga, with a background in sports science, Lara has created a workout designed to cover all aspects of fitness including anti-ageing. Body by Lara is results focused to create a sculpted physique, improved posture and flexible and agile body.

Lara’s method is taught privately or in small groups of three people only.  body lab , barre body in addition to classical pilates classes utilise usage of the pilates towers, barres , small props like dumbbells , elastic bands and the magic circle.

Each class has an element of strength to build muscles , an element of stretch to give a lean and sculpted physique, and core work to improve posture, alignment and balance. 

The studio is based at Matt Roberts Chelsea, a short walk from either South Kensington or Knightsbridge underground stations.

Lara also teaches clients privately on the garuda at barre core studios in Kensington and Chelsea.

Pilates Tower

A tower workout is total body tone up that combines the benefits of springs with using you-against-gravity mat work.
The class is a “challenging workout” that offers all the benefits of standard Pilates – a strong core, increased flexibility, and improved stamina. The tower springs provide resistance and immediate feedback, which helps the client to adjust and correct accordingly.
The structure of the class is based on the classical progressions, taught with flow at controlled but fast pace. The focus of the workout could be changed each time through different choreography and formats.
Anyone benefits from tower classes including the elderly.

BBL Springs Sculpt

If you are looking for a new challenge, a new workout routine to add to what you currently do, which challenges your strength, sculpts your body, gives you a strong core and improved posture  and flexibility, then look no further! 

BBL springs sculpt group class has it all!

A supercharged workout using the magic of pilates springs, the barre, body weight exercises , small weights and stability balls to get your heart rate up, your muscles burning and your whole body challenged!

Springs sculpt  is a resistance training workout based on timed circuits which work, firm and tone  the whole body; the HIIT intervals are pilates based moves, safe on the joints, you will heat up and tone your entire body . You will burn unwanted fat and improve your metabolism so you will be burning fat for a whole day after your workout . The springs give you the right definition and muscle shaping  where no bulking is guaranteed . 

The springs are used for arms, abdominal work, leg and butt work; you will change your body shape while stretching what is tight in your body and strengthening all that is weak. A balanced workout which gets you sweating from the first two minutes! 

BBL springs sculpt is a body transformation class which integrates movement from pilates, dance, yoga, garuda suspension training and boxing using the powerful  pilates springs.

Remedial Pilates

We have all heard about the many benefits of Pilates to bring the body into balance. a functional movement class which addresses injuries and rehab in all aspects.
This class is useful for anyone recovering from an injury, or trying to build up core strength and improve muscular activation.
It is a slow paced class which is good for beginners, pregnant women, post pregnancy or anyone who wants to get a better understanding of how the body works and how to use it in movement or any kind of sports and daily activity.
